Before Insurance companies can process your claim for damage to your home either the Insurance Company will send a builder and or an assessor out to your home to report on the damage this will be a report which will list the extent of damage and the scope of works required to carry out the repairs. In most cases the Insurance Company will organize this; however some insurance companies will simply ask you for two quotes;
Which will simply be a scope of works as seen by the builder and reported by the builder with an estimate of repairs?
